ECLIPSE POD -ATEGO/MAN/SCANIA/VOLVO
Product Information
Our larger Eclipse pod comes with either a Mercedes Atego base or MAN TGL base. These are a direct fit to the cab roof.
Pod widths – 8ft 1.5″
Fitted Atego pod height – 35″
Fitted MAN pod height – 37″
Both of these pods are designed to fit to an 8ft 1.5″ body. If your body is 8ft wide, you will require our ‘Pod surround trim’. The pod surround trim squares off the corners of your box and steps each side out by 3/4″ to meet the width of the pod/side ears.
Our Mercedes Atgeo pod has moulded side ears, shaped to the profile of the Atgeo cab, our MAN ears are large universal ears and require cutting to the profile of the cab/wheel arch.
All parts come with a gelcoat finish and may have visible marks from mould split lines. We always recommend painting for the best finish.
Have a Scania P-Series or Volvo FL?
Our Eclipse pods can also be retro fitted to other cabs, such as Scania P-Serie, Volvo FL etc.
When retro fitting a pod, you use a pod with a base which is moulded to a smaller cab roof, the moulded base sits within the perimeter of your cab roof and sits on the flat section surrouning the moulded base. For Scania P-Series/Volvo FL, you can take either our Eclipse Eurocargo pod or Mercedes Atego pod. They look exactly the same but offer a different height when retro fitted:
